What is it about? The ultimate summer weekend get-away for Christian who are not yet married (single or in courtship)

Introduction: This is an annual event organised by the Pillars (a group of individuals who are Christians, who are not married and 22 year old and above) of Emmanuel Celebration Centre, a Christian church based in Slough. The event is tailored to entertain, challenge, empower and train the participants to be achievers. The programme is open and competitive, offering a blend of recreational vacation with personal development.

Vision: To become The Europe’s biggest annual summer empowerment vacation for mature Christian who are not married (single or in courtship)

Who are the target group? Individuals who are aged 22 years and above who are not yet married

Aim: To equip participants with knowledge and offer platform for their practical involvement, thus enhancing their positive influence in the communities as required by Lord Jesus Christ.

Forums (These make the objectives of Extreme Summer Weekend 2012)

Forum 1: Career choice and development, leadership and business skills

Forum 2: Time Management for the Single Christian

Forum 3: Courtship and relationship in the contemporary world

Forum 4: Taking the world for Christ

Closing forum: Reflection on the outcome and emphasis on shinning in practice

Note: Highly experienced teachers of the word will steer the forums which will involve open discussions by participants with personal testimonies and biblical illustrations, flanked by plenty of physical activities mainly outdoor.

EXPECTED OUTCOME

· Participants will have appreciated the need to be industrious and proactive as a necessity for excellence

· Participants will have a greater level of motivation as individuals and corporately.

· Participants will have practically enhanced their understanding on dealing with challenges.

· Participants are expected to have captured biblical relevance and applying the scripture to real life issues.

· Participants will have networked and a forged a formidable bond between the group members and a lasting relationship amongst themselves

· Participants will have been refreshed, informed and entertained.

Financing Extreme Summer Weekend
An individual’s ticket is valued at £85 or £95 based on preferred accommodation. There is a £25 booking deposit fee and the rest is payable later
